About

Hello and welcome to Historic Highways! My name is Dave Eames and I manage the collection here at the museum. Yea, I probably care a little too much about this cool old roadside stuff. After all, it’s just junk. But as an artist and road trip buff, I really marvel at the design and history of most of it. Enjoy the exhibits!

The Diving Lady neon sign from the Virginia Court motel (1950-2000) on old Highway 80, Meridian, Mississippi, will be exhibited at the Museum of Neon Art in its new location in downtown Los Angeles starting this Spring. Will be glad to share photos, history if interested.
